Hello! Welcome to Street Shop Japan. This is a shopping service based in Tokyo, Japan. As the name indicates, this service is specifically for purchasing street fashion from Japan, although I also purchase CDs, DVDs, and concert tickets for those who will be visiting Japan. I live 15 minutes from Shinjuku, and fairly close to Shibuya and Harajuku, the centers of popular street fashion in Tokyo.

The website can be navigated by the blue links in the upper right hand corner, and individual pages can be navigated by the orange links at the top which will appear when you click on a new page.

How to Order: Items

Items must be paid for in advance. I will not purchase an item until I reseive your payment. Items will be bought within a week of my reply to your email, and I will notify you once the item has been sent out. Please keep in mind that items are occassionally sold old. If that's the case, you will be refunded in full, except for my transportation fee.

How to Order: Reserve

All reserves must be paid for in advance. I will not reserve an item until I receive your payment. Also, please remember that items may be unavailable. Please check the website that you are ordering from to make sure your reserve is still open. If I go to place a reserve on an item and it is already sold out, you will be refunded everything in full, except my transportation fee.

How to Order: Tickets

All tickets must be paid for in advance. I will not order your ticket until I receive your payment. I prefer to order tickets via the Loppi machine at Lawson convenience stores, but I will consider ordering tickets through other methods as well, if there is no other choice. I will let you know if it's possible after I receive your email.

Payment

There are only so many ways you can pay for your purchase. My preferred method is, of course, Paypal. A list of possible payment methods is below.

Paypal
Bank Transfer (Wire Transfer)
Money Order

Bank transfers can be complicated for those who have never done one, and all money order must be converted to yen before they are sent. Also, I will not purchase anything until I receive your money order or transfer, which can take up to two weeks, risking the chance of your item being sold out. So if possible, payment via Paypal is the best option!

Fees

This is to outline exactly what you are getting charged for, how much, and why.

Purchase Total: This is self-explanatory. This is the exact total of your purchase as specified by the retailer.

Transportation Fee: This depends on the location of the shop you wish to purchase from. Below is a list of prices from my apartment to major stations:
To Shinjuku: 150 yen
To Shibuya: 130 yen
To Harajuku: 280 yen

Service Fee: This is my shopping service fee. If you purchase is:
2000 yen or less: 500 yen
2001 yen to 5000 yen: 700 yen
5001 yen to 20000 yen: 15%
20000 yen or higher: 10%

Shipping Fee: This depends on where you live, the type of shipping you wish to use, and the weight of your items. Here is a link to Japan Postal Service's homepage, in English. You can look up a rough estimate on your shipping cost using their website. You will be charged this after the item is purchased.

Paypal Fee: The initial paypal fee, to be paid with shipping. I will ONLY charge you the paypal fee from your purchase. I will not charge you the paypal fee for when you pay shipping.

So to sum everything up, the total fee you will be charged is as follows:
Total + Transport + Service Fee
Once the items are bought, Shipping + Paypal (if applicable)

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are you anyway?
I'm a university student in Tokyo, and I like to wear a variety of all of the fashions that I offer this shopping service for, as well as attending concerts and events when I have the money for it.

Do you have any feedback?
The paypal account that I'm using now was set up specifically for this shopping service, however I have another account that is shared with my father. If necessary, send me an email and I'll link you to that account for verification. I also used to have feedback on the loligoth database under the username itsumademou, but the database has since been deleted.

I sent you my payment, but the item is sold out. Now what?
You will be refunded in full, with the exception of my transportation fee if I've already attempted to go buy the item. (No more than 300 yen.)

How long is this going to take?
Once I receive your payment, I will attempt to buy your item within one week. Once I have the item, it will be shipped out on the next weekend. For example, if I buy your item on Sunday, it won't be shipped out until the following weekend, however if I buy your item on Thursday, it will be shipped out that weekend. The maximum amount of time before shipping would be two weeks, with shipping taking a maximum of two weeks as well, depending on the type of shipping.

I want to order from a place not on your list. Can I?
It is possible. Please make sure that the shop you want to order from is located in the Tokyo area, preferrably near a major station such as Shinjuku, Harajuku, or Shibuya. When you send the ordering email, please specify that the shop you're ordering from is not on my shop list, and link me to the shop's website.

I want to order from a band's website, but you can only order by email. Will you do it for me?
I will order by email for you, but remember that you will have to pay two shipping fees. Once to have the item shipped to my apartment, and once to have the item shipped to you. (This is assuming that they will not ship overseas.) HOWEVER, if they require that you pay by credit card, I cannot order for you. Sorry.

Will you order this item online for me?
No. Aside from my bank card, I do not have a Japanese credit card, and therefore cannot order online for you. Auction sites like Yahoo Japan Auction, etc. require Japanese credit cards to order, so it is not possible. Sorry.
